The app allows users to follow live TV and high-quality video content on their smartphones and tablets. Challenge Our task was to optimize crucial factors such as upload, download speed, crete a dedicated kids mode and even incorporate a social network element to increase the chances for market success. We also had a goal to make this kind of entertainment more affordable and comfortable for users. Solution As a result of our cooperation, we provided a reskin of an existing app which helped Vodacom TV to boost their growth rate and market advantage. With the product roadmap and industry insights, we guided the process and took over everything from strategy to implementation to continuous improvement. Our team provided a complete redesign and also came up with an idea of building the solution on the “local cloud” concept, which resulted in huge cost savings and increased internet speed to the end-users.
